Dolly Dean of Denton Green by Rachel Ann West

This is a very unique story written in an old-fashioned style that you won’t find in most modern books. You really feel like you have stepped back in time and the author has a knack for describing daily mundane chores like an art. A very simple and down-to-earth love story set in simple times when common folks work with their hands and enjoy the fruits of their labor. They live in a small community whereby doing the right thing is more important than personal judgement and prejudice. In good and bad times, the community stood by the family and did the right thing. No man is an island. We don’t accomplish anything alone and the tapestry of our life continues to woven with each new encounter. Lastly, the author made a poignant effect with a bittersweet ending which will leave readers thinking about the circle of life. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
